dsc06120.jpgAlice and I enjoyed a wonderful evening with our husbands at the Boerne Education Foundation’s gala… great food, fun band, a wonderful auction, and awesome friends.

And the auction item that we donated helped raise a great deal of money for our Boerne schools.  Thanks so much to all who bid!

d2x_7451.jpgFrom 10:00-2:00, Emily and I represented Shutter-Happy at Rainbow Play Systems’ Easter Celebration.  We had a wonderful time; handed out lots of Easter eggs, candy, and ballons; were able to meet lots of the community.  And we got to watch kids run around everywhere, wearing our Shutter-Happy stickers!!!

We also were able to conduct a fantastic drawing.  And winners are as follows…

Magnet:
Angela Nanney, of Spring Branch
Bobby Barrera, of San Antonio
Jimmie Walker, of San Antonio
Leida Morales, of San Antonio
Lucinda Servin, of San Antonio

Purse:
Heidi Amende, of San Antonio
Veronica Elizondo, of San Antonio
Phillip Brown, of San Antonio
Charlotte Dolat, of San Antonio
Noam Kahn, of San Antonio

Canvas:
Genevieve Jones, of San Antonio

Congratulations to everyone who won!!!  We’ll be calling you in the next few days to set up a session appointment to capture images for your items…

Caught Ya!

Posted in Uncategorized on March 22nd, 2010 by Amy

We’re on the lookout.  We want to catch YOU around town wearing your Shutter-Happy t-shirt…

And everyone “caught” will be featured on our blog and will receive an entry into our quarterly drawing for a FREE portrait purse or necklace!!!

So make sure you’re wearing your shirt around town- to run errands, to work out at the gym, etc.

Don’t have a shirt yet?  Let me know when you’d like to stop by to pick one up!  :)

Welcome, Emily!

Just wanted to extend a big “WELCOME!” to Shutter-Happy’s newest member- Emily Christian.  I am thrilled that you’ve decided to work with Alice and I, and I can’t wait to see what the three of us can accomplish this year! I won’t introduce Emily because I’m hoping she’ll make herself right at home here on the blog.

But I will tell you that she is now in charge of all marketing ideas and community involvement for us.  So if you have an office that you would like decorated with incredible images, if you have an auction that you need a donation to, or if you have an event you would like us to participate in… Emily is your girl!

So watch for upcoming articles to learn more about her, and be on the lookout for new ideas brewing in our meetings!  We are so excited about our latest ideas!!!
