Making a Difference, Changing My Look
I got my haircut this morning. Not just any haircut- oh no! I got ten inches trimmed off. The summer’s too hot, I was pulling it back too much, Evan had begun tugging at it, so it was time.
So I made the quick trip over to Tim Barefoot at Main Hair Studio, and I let him work his magic. Just as he did for me five years ago after Ben was born, I was again thrilled with the results.
And the icing on the cake is that I had enough length to donate to Locks of Love. If you have not heard of this cause or if you’d like more information about what they do, please check out their website. What a beautiful way to help a child dealing with cancer- to give them the gift of their hair back.
WOW!
I just clicked the link to locks of love and I didn’t know I could donate colored hair!!
I have to think about…granted i do get highlights from time to time.
:) I’m about to get my hair cut soon and do the same thing. I have amost an inch to grow yet, so maybe in the next month. YAY!
Amy! You look great! Short hair is very cute on you.
Thanks- I just love it! It’s so cool and Evan can’t reach it any more.
I just read the article in the Boerne Star about this. I want to commend you with all my heart for this generous donation. You are truly a wonderful person.
All my best,
Helene G. Bachmann
